Kasese FDC Boss Threaten To Mobilize Locals To Demonstrate If District Council Members Continue To Have Sittings In a Hotel.

Kasese District Forum for Democratic Change Chairperson Mr. Ronald Kabuku urge FDC  Councillors led by the Leader of Opposition to stop attending council sitting in hotels on tax payers’ money.

" I threaten FDC Councilors to stop attending council sittings in Hotels. Any FDC Councilors who will be found will face the party disciplinary committee." Mr. Kabuku threaten.

Mr. Kabuku reveal that over two council sittings have been held from outside Kasese District Main Mult-Purpose Hall.

It's believed that the Hall was andalised by unknown people which led council council members to have sittings in Kasese Resort Hotel

" As FDC party we can not allow local tax payers money to be spend anyhow by careless leaders who have never even bothered to arrest those who vandalized the Mult-Purpose Hall."  Mr. Kabuku say

Kabuku blame the District Chairperson LC V Mr. Muhindi Eliphazi for not intervening into this issue of vandalizing District Main Hall. 

"I will mobilize locals to demonstrate peacefully against misuse our fund. I warning the District Leadership to work upon it immediately" Mr. Kabuku add

Mr. Muhindi Eliphazi the District Chairperson LC V say they have tasked the CAO’s Office work upon the issue.

"I have tasked the Chief Administrative Officer to revamp Multi-Purpose before the next council sitting. I can't agree to waste tax payers money but I am also not happy with it." Mr. Muhindi respond 

He further explain that as a district they have taken a step on that issue of working on requisitions for waiting Engineer.

Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Responds to Petition from Three MPs Seeking Medical Support for Omusinga

The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has taken note of a circulating petition dated April 8, 2025, addressed to the President of Uganda, seeking urgent medical support for His Majesty Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma. The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
