"Stop Eating Sanga Meat, Eat Fresh Fish" Lt. Magwara Advise Kasese Residents.

Sanga Meat has for about 10 years left reactions among leaders, traders and consumers in Kasese District particularly Bukonzo County. Some Leaders have always criticized that Sanga Meat is good for human consumption.

A kilogram of sanga meat cost UGX 8000 against UGX 16000 of recommended and verified meat 

Recently,  Kasese Deputy RDC in Charge of Bukonzo County Lt. Maate Magwara requested people living Kasese District stop eating Sanga Meat because it's to fit for human consumption.

"Sanga Meat is Poisonous to your lives start eating fish because the market is now back in Uganda" Lt Magwara say

He made remarks on (Tuesday) 27th August 2024 while talking to our reporter shortly after harmonizing the two sides of loaders and off loaders of salt fish in Mpondwe Lhubiriha Market in the meeting that was held at one stop centre in Mpondwe Lhubiriha Town Council, Kasese District.

Mpondwe Lhubiriha Fish Market was shifted to DR Congo in 2021, since then locals in Kasese started depending on Sanga Meat.

"Let's utilize this market because it has come back with many advantages to both government and local people. I urge public to involve in buying and eating fish for their safety and income generation"  Lt Magwara add

In the meeting he harmonized the two sides of loaders and off loaders that they should cooperate than fighting.

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
