KARAMBI YOUNG FC DISQUALIFIED FROM BIG4 TOURNAMENT - KASESE

 

Kasese, Uganda - In a shocking move, Karambi Young FC, also known as "The Cats", has been disqualified from the 2024 BIG4 tournament due to unsporting behavior on the field of play.

The decision was made during a closed-door meeting at Elite Peak Motel in Mpondwe Lhubiriha Town Council, Kasese, on November 22nd, 2024. The BIG4 tournament executive has enforced a zero-tolerance policy towards unsporting behavior, resulting in the disqualification of Karambi Young FC.

"We will not tolerate any unsporting behavior in this tournament," said the BIG4 administrator. "This year's tournament will feature two new entrants, and we expect all teams to conduct themselves in a sporting manner."

The disqualification of Karambi Young FC has paved the way for Tigers FC to join the tournament. Additionally, Katwe FC has been replaced by Best In Town FC.

The teams participating in the 2024 BIG4 tournament are:

- Mpondwe Tigers FC

- Mpondwe Villa FC

- Pepsi FC

- Best In Town FC

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
