LOCAL GOALKEEPER MAKES WAVES IN KASESE DISTRICT Kasese, Uganda - KASEVENI Abdullah

Kasese, Uganda - KASEVENI Abdullah, affectionately known as "Onyango", is making a name for himself as a talented young goalkeeper in the Kasese District.

The 16-year-old, who was born on February 8th, 2008, in Kyanduli, Bwera, has already achieved an impressive list of career milestones. Onyango's passion for football began at a young age, and he has since honed his skills through various training programs and tournaments.

Onyango's achievements include winning the gold medal and trophy in the Kasese District 4th Division League with Happy Kickers in 2023. He was also named the best goalkeeper in the U-10 Idd Tournament in Bwera in 2015/16 and has led his teams to silver medals in the Go Back to School Tournament and the Ntungumu U-14 Tournament.

The young goalkeeper credits his success to his role models, G. Buffon, Iker Casillas, and David Raya, and his favorite dish, Matooke (Plantain), Rice, Ground Nuts, and Fried Fish.

Onyango currently plays for Rwenzori Lions F.C. and is looking forward to continuing his football journey. With his dedication and talent, he is sure to make a name for himself in the football world.

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
