STUDENTS OF LIBERTY COLLEGE URGED TO BE HARDWORKING AND ENSURE GOOD HEALTH

Kasese, Uganda - Liberty College of Management and Journalism today ( 26th November 2024) hosted a career guidance session and HIV awareness presentation, featuring esteemed alumni and health experts.

"We are thrilled to have our alumni share their experiences and insights with our students," said Principal Sezi Bwambale. "Their stories serve as a reminder that our students' futures are bright, and their choices matter."

Muhindo George, former Guild President (2019-2022), emphasized the importance of respecting one another and valuing the resources provided by parents. "Your fellow student could become your future employer, so build positive relationships and focus on education," he advised.

Muhumuza Isaac, another alumnus, stressed the importance of taking responsibility for academic success and choosing courses that align with one's passions. "Public speaking skills are crucial, so practice early and often," he added.

Mika Bwambale, from Baylor Uganda, presented on HIV prevention and awareness. "Youth are often engaged in risky behavior on weekends, putting them at high risk of contracting diseases. We must educate ourselves and make informed choices," he warned.

The event aimed to inspire and empower students to make informed decisions about their future and prioritize their health and well-being. As Brain Mumbere the institution Registra emphasized, "Our students' choices today will shape their tomorrow."
