NeFCoRD LAUNCHES INCOME GENERATING POULTRY PROJECT TO SUPPORT CHILDREN'S EDUCATIONCenter
New Life Foundation for Community Rural Development (NEFCORD) has officially launched its Income Generating Poultry Project, aimed at supporting the education of children in Kasese District
Funded by international supporters, including the Ruben Fernandes Association from Portugal, the project aims to pay school fees for 48 pupils and students at primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions . The project has already benefited seven pupils at Kasese SDA Primary School.
According to Mukwano Titus, Executive Director of NEFCORD, the project has already secured funding from international supporters to pay school fees for some children. Titus urged parents to pray for the project's success, hoping to expand support to more children.
The project kicked off with a donation of chickens from supporters, which will help generate income for the foundation to cover school fees.
Beneficiaries of NEFCORD's support, Bwambale Feb and Kabugho Mirriam, expressed their heartfelt thanks to the organization and its supporters for providing football and netball training, as well as covering their school fees.
Parents of children supported by NEFCORD, Mr. Thembo Musteka and Ms. Biira Feliza, also expressed their gratitude to the organization's international supporters, thanking them for their kindness and good work.
