WOMAN OF 80 YEARS, HURT IN ACCIDENT, NEEDS HELP

KASESE, UGANDA - FEBRUARY 8, 2025

Yosinta Bakunzi, 80, is in a difficult situation at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Kasese District. She was hit by a speeding car on February 6 at Majengo Trading Center and broke her leg.

The problem is that Ms. Bakunzi has no money to pay for her treatment. She also has no relatives in the area to help her, and her landlord is threatening to evict her from her home.


A well-wisher, Mr. Rashid, is asking for help for Ms. Bakunzi. He thinks the government should help people like her.

Mr. Obed Kithende, CEO of Restore My Hope Uganda, is also asking for help. He says, "We must help her. She is alone and needs our support."

The hospital says Ms. Bakunzi needs treatment urgently, but she cannot afford it.

Please help Ms. Bakunzi by giving money for her treatment or providing any other kind of support..

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
