Some Kingdom Leaders and Other Subjects spent a day at a site which is located in Ihandiro Sub County where they respected and prayed for Isaya Mukirinia. Isaya Mukirania Kibanzanga I (1924–September 2, 1966) was a Ugandan teacher and political activist who led the Rwenzururu movement, a rebellion against the Tooro Kingdom and the central government of Uganda.  He is revered as the founder of the Kingdom of Rwenzururu and its first self-proclaimed Omusinga (King), reigning from the Rwenzori Mountains from 1962 until his death on September 2, 1966. Standard Chartered Bank Uganda Gives UGX 150 Million to Support Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon

Kampala, Uganda - Standard Chartered Bank Uganda is supporting the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon for the fourth year in a row. The bank is giving UGX 150 million to help elite runners and promote sports and environmental sustainability in Uganda. The bank's support will see top prizes of UGX 10 million for 42km winners and UGX 7 million for 21km winners, with additional cash prizes for top performers, persons with disabilities, and standout local athletes from Kasese.
