Miss Rwenzori Queen Brendah Tasha and the 1st Runner-Up urge Parents to Emphasize Behavioral Classes for children During the Teachers' Strike

In a passionate address to the Rwenzori region community, Miss Rwenzori Queen Brendah Tashs and 1st Runner-up Miss Rwenzori Queen Biira Asinet emphasized the importance of parental support for children's education during the ongoing teachers' strike.

The queens highlighted key reasons why education matters, including its role in empowering individuals, driving community development, fostering innovation, and promoting equality. However, they acknowledged challenges such as access barriers, resource needs, and cultural perspectives that hinder quality education.

To address these issues, they called on the community to support local schools, encourage learners, and collaborate for progress. "As we cherish the beauty of Rwenzori, let's also nurture the minds that will shape our future," the queens said. "Education is a gift we give ourselves and generations to come."
