Kasese District Prepares for Historic Thanksgiving Event for President Museveni

In a show of gratitude and appreciation, the Kasese district is gearing up for a historic thanksgiving event to honor President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his dedicated service and support to the community.

"We are Kasese District Prepares for Historic Thanksgiving Event for President Museveni to host this event and express our heartfelt thanks to President Museveni for his unwavering commitment to our district," said Lt. Joe Walusimbi, Resident District Commissioner. "Security is tight, and we are ready to ensure a successful and memorable event."

The event, scheduled for December 7th in Nyakatonzi, is being organized by Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabyanga Kiime, State Minister for ICT and National Guidance, and Gen. Wilson Mbasu Mbandi, former Ugandan CDF and Minister of State for Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives.

"We have every reason to thank HE Museveni for the numerous appointments, employments, and opportunities he has afforded our people," said Mr. Muhindi Eliphazi, Kasese District LC5 Chairperson. "We are eager to showcase our love and appreciation for his dedicated service."

With preparations in high gear, the community is excited to welcome President Museveni and express their gratitude. "We are ready to receive the President and show him our love and support," said Mr. Steven Mbeera, LC3 Chairperson for Nyakatonzi Sub County. "This event is a testament to the President's impact on our community, and we are honored to host him."

As the district counts down to this historic event, the atmosphere is electric with anticipation and excitement. "We are calling on everyone to come and join us in thanking President Museveni for his selfless service," said Lt. Walusimbi. "It's going to be a momentous occasion, and we wouldn't want anyone to miss it!"

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
