100 Athletes to Represent Kasese District in Tusker Lite Mt.Rwenzori Marathon 2024.
The 3rd edition of Tusker Lite Mt.Rrwenzori Marathon scheduled for 24th August 2024 in Kasese District.
In April, three of the 2024 Tusker Lite Mt. Rwenzori Marathon courses received certification from World Athletics.

Runners will now race on a globally certified race course that is attracting elite athletes and enthusiasts from around the world, establishing itself as a truly global event.
With participants hailing from 32 countries confirmed, the marathon’s reach extends far beyond the borders of Uganda.
For the starters, the marathon introduces a new 10KM rout, complimenting the existing 5KM,21KM and 42KM .

Ladies’ 21 km: UGX 7 million for the winner, with cash prizes for the top 5 finishers.
In addition to these awards, special cash prizes will be given to the best local talent from the Rwenzori region and Persons With Disabilities (PWDs).
