Athletes from Different parts of the world are arriving in Kasese for the 3rd Edition of Tusker Lite Mt. Rwenzori Marathon.
Sate Minister for Information Communication Technology and National Guidance Hon. Kabbyanga Godfrey Kiime says that athletes from different countries and different parts of the country have started arriving in the district.
"We have received athletes from different countries, I call upon the local community to also be part of this international marathon." Hon. Kabyanga said
Hon Kabbyanga who was today ( 22 August 2024) addressing journalists at Shiloh hotel in Kasese town about the much anticipated Mt. Rwenzori Marathon on Saturday 24th August between, advises road users of Kikorongo-Kasese road to move as early as possible on Saturday since it shall be temporarily closed to enable smooth flow of Tusker Lite Mt. Rwenzori Marathon.
" The government has resolved that Kikorongo-Kasese shall be temporarily closed between 04am-10am because it has been marked as the route for athletes who shall run 42km during the 3rd edition of the Mt. Rwenzori Marathon". Hon. Kabyanga adds
