Gatete a 8 Year Old Boy Participate in Rotary Cancer Run 2024 In Kasese.

Ayani Gatete was the youngest participants in 5Km today's cancer run says he is determined and physically fit participate in the running for noble cause of saving lives.

This comes after Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon which attracted participants from 32 countries.

Lt. Joel Walusimbi the Kasese Resident District Commissioner urge residents in the area district to participate in running exercises to improve their cardiovascular fitness.

" Physical exercises maintains healthy weight but also build strong bones. I call upon the public to engage in active running to keep their bodies fit" Lt. Walusimbi says

Ms. Tobia Kyamuhendo the kasese President for Rotary Club advises runners to practice eat  nutritiosious food. 

"I asks the public avoid food that may put them on risks of getting cancer. Additionally I call upon the youths to engage in sports because it's also a source of income" Ms. Tobia advises.

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
