Some Kingdom Leaders and Other Subjects spent a day at a site which is located in Ihandiro Sub County where they respected and prayed for Isaya Mukirinia. The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Kingdom is set to unveil the official Omusinga Birthday Run kit on Thursday, September 4, 2025. The event, scheduled for November 14, 2025, has generated significant excitement among the youth, who have been creating and sharing viral graphics and digital content on social media. In a statement, the kingdom's Ministry of Information, Mobilization & Spokespersonship expressed heartfelt appreciation to the vibrant youth of Rwenzururu for their overwhelming enthusiasm, creativity, and initiative in support of the event. “NRM Veterans Hid at Our Home” – Kasese NRM Leader Appeals to Museveni Over Family’s Liberation Role

The outgoing LC3 Chairperson of Kitswamba Town Council in Kasese District, Mr. Monday John Wakighoma, has appealed to Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to formally recognize his family’s contribution to Uganda’s liberation struggle, claiming that NRM veterans once hid at their home during the bush war. Wakighoma made the remarks while congratulating President Museveni on what he described as a seventh term in office, praising government programs such as the Parish Development Model (PDM), Emyooga, and ongoing road infrastructure works that he said have benefited communities in Kasese District.
