Kagando School of Nursing Started the 2024 FINS Rwenzori Health Medical Schools competition In A High Gear.

FINS are the host of Rwenzori Health Medical schools competitions the edition that has started Thursday, 22nd august 2024. 

Kagando School of Nursing are the winners in athletics after the girls team came as the 1st and boys team in the 2nd positions respectively.

Six schools to compete in this year edition this include Fort Portal Internal school of Nursing,Kagando School of Nursing, Rwenzori School of Nursing,Fort Portal School of Clinical Officers ,Prime School of Nursing and Virika.

Ball games II kick off on Friday 23rd at St. Leo's College in fort portal City. 

The defending champions Rwenzori School of Nursing land their opponents 

  • Group A: Rwenzori School of Nursing, Fort Portal Internal school of Nursing and Fort Portal School of Clinical Officers.
  • Group B: Kagando School of Nursing,Prime School of Nursing and Virika.

The competition will end on Saturday, 24th August 2024. This year National Health Medical School completions will be held in Arua district District.

Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Responds to Petition from Three MPs Seeking Medical Support for Omusinga

The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has taken note of a circulating petition dated April 8, 2025, addressed to the President of Uganda, seeking urgent medical support for His Majesty Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma. The petition, signed by Hon. Thembo Gideon Mujungu (MP Busongora County South), Hon. Sowedi Kitanywa (MP Busongora County North), and Hon. Ferigo Kam bale (MP Kasese Municipality), expresses concern over the delayed fulfillment of a presidential pledge to facilitate specialized medical treatment for the Omusinga and his wife. Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
