Kasese District Local Government Launches a Manhunt for the People who are Using the Officer’s Names to Con the Public.

The hunt follows several complaints from the public who argue that they have been conned by the people who use the names of the government officials in disguise that they would give them jobs.

Just one day back, two teachers from Bikunya Primary School were yet to the coned by someone who had pledged to promote them to the positions of senior Education Assistant and Deputy Head teacher.

Mr. Elias Byamungu, the Chief Administrative Officer says that he has noted with concern a number of people complaining that they have been conned by the people who pretend that he is the one sending them.

He explains that he has open a general inquiries file at police to follow up any telephone number used by the people who con the public.

Kasese District Chairperson, Mr. Eliphazi Muhindi Bukombi says that the fight against corruption would continue even in the civil service.

However Muhindi blames the public for always concealing information but only speak out if they are conned.

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
