Liberty College of Management and Journalism today ( 30th August 2024) Installed New Guild Council.

The remarkable Handover Ceremony, marking a significant transition in the Leadership of the Student Executive Council.

The event brought together students, faculty, and administration to witness the formal transfer of responsibilities from the outgoing council to the newly elected representatives.

In his farewell speech, the outgoing President of the Student Executive Council, Kiiza Boaz, reflected on the accomplishments of the past year. 

"We in my leadership we managed to Launch of the college’s first digital journalism platform and the establishment of stronger ties with industry professionals through guest lectures and internships." Boaz explain 

Boaz express gratitude to his team for their dedication and emphasized the importance of collaborative leadership in achieving their goals.

The incoming council, led by the new President, Kule Filian, was officially welcomed with enthusiasm and optimism.

In his inaugural address, Filian outlined his vision for the coming year, which includes expanding student involvement in college governance, promoting leadership opportunities for all students, and enhancing access to resources for management students. 

" I also emphasize a renewed focus on innovation and ethical practices, crucial to the fields of management and ICT." Filian say.

Meanwhile Mr. Brian Mumbere the Institute Academic Registrar implore students to always participate in leadership while still schooling because it exposes them to opportunities of becoming future leaders.

"This ceremony holds great significance, as it reflects not only the continuity of governance within our student body but also the growth of the leaders who have served and the potential of those about to take on these roles. Events like today remind us that a truly enriching college experience goes beyond academics alone." Brian advise
