Artists In Greater Rwenzori Region To Meet. - Urged To Desist From Drug Abuse and Sexuality

Uganda National Musician Federation is organizing regional meetings to sensitize it's members have meaningful and productive songs 

The Federation is a dynamic and vibrant organization dedicated to promoting, supporting, and advocating for the musical arts in Uganda

Their vision is to create a vibrant and sustainable music industry in Uganda that celebrates rich cultural heritage, fosters creativity and innovation, and benefits musicians, audiences, and the wider community

To realize the above mentioned concerns , the Federation has organized regional meeting. For Greater Rwenzori Region the meeting shall be held Fort Portal City at their Regional Offices on 7th /9/2024 at 2pm. 

A team from National Headquarters of the Federation is expected to bless the meeting.

Masika Happy aka Lady Happy a Kasese Based Artist and a Legend in Kasese Music Industry recently advised female artists always put in much effort towards enhancing their  talents.

Many Musicians are developing their communities and families due to talents they have. A case study , GoodHope Alex a Kasese Based Artist, Dancer and Song Writer on 30th August 2024 avail to have bought a new car.

Two weeks back President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni appointed Eddy Kenzo as a Senior Advisor on Creatives. A position which will enable artists report their concerns to the state house.

Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Responds to Petition from Three MPs Seeking Medical Support for Omusinga

The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has taken note of a circulating petition dated April 8, 2025, addressed to the President of Uganda, seeking urgent medical support for His Majesty Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma. The petition, signed by Hon. Thembo Gideon Mujungu (MP Busongora County South), Hon. Sowedi Kitanywa (MP Busongora County North), and Hon. Ferigo Kam bale (MP Kasese Municipality), expresses concern over the delayed fulfillment of a presidential pledge to facilitate specialized medical treatment for the Omusinga and his wife. In a press statement, the 1st Deputy Prime Minister, Ow'Ek Baluku Muhesi Patrick, clarified that the Kingdom was neither consulted nor officially copied into the petition. Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
