Omusinga Mumbere orders to rescue Mumbere, Kiteezi Landfill Survivor.

Obusingwa Bwa Rwenzuru on 18th August 2024 ( Sunday ) received a 14 year juvenile Gilbert Mumbere who escaped death during Kiteezi Garbage Landfill in Kampala. 

Information indicate that as of Friday, Police had recovered another body from the Kiteezi Landfill, bringing the total number of the dead to 35. 

 The OBR  Minister Information, Mobilization and Kingdom Spokesperson Hon. Kanyonyi Geoffrey, told media after receiving Gilbert at OBR Prime Minister Office in Kasese Town that they received information A Mukonzo was a victim of Kiteezi Garbage Landfill Omusinga Mumbere directed the his cabinet to go pick him. 

"Omusinga, directed us to look for means of bringing him back because he was helpless''. Kanyonyi said

"I thanked  Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu for bringing me to Kasese , i survived because they had send me to go and buy sugar." Gilbert Mumbere,  Survivor 

The OBR Minister of Gender Rehabilitation and Disability Affairs,  Best Ferigo who went to Kampala to pick Gilbert, narrates that the situation in Kiteezi is not good.

She says that Kiteezi has been condoned for humans to stay in, however she asks well-wishers to support Gilbert during his education career because he lost his family of Six People.Membere, Kiteezi Landfill Survivor Received in Rwenzururu Kingdom

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
