Accident Claim One in Kasese - Police Report

The Rwenzori East Regional Police Spokesperson SP Nelson Tumushime on Tuesday ( 2nd September 2024) confirmed the death which occurred due to a fatal accident.

He identified deceased as Byamukama Francis M/A 24 yrs old,  a Mukiga by tribe, resident of Biguli Cell, Bitambe Parish Kamwenge District who died in fatal accident 

 " The accident happened on Monday in the evening hours (1st September 2024) at Fort Portal-Kasese in Hima Town Council where it involved a Motorcycle Reg No. UFX 869 D and Motor vehicle Reg No. UBL 145N" SP Nelson say

SP Nelson add that the passenger Kirabo Glorious F/A 24 yrs believed to be the wife of deceased sustained serious injuries and was transported to Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Kasese for medical care

Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Responds to Petition from Three MPs Seeking Medical Support for Omusinga

The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has taken note of a circulating petition dated April 8, 2025, addressed to the President of Uganda, seeking urgent medical support for His Majesty Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma. The petition, signed by Hon. Thembo Gideon Mujungu (MP Busongora County South), Hon. Sowedi Kitanywa (MP Busongora County North), and Hon. Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
