BEAT OF EXCELLENCE: Music, Dance, and Drama Take Center Stage in Back-to-School Compgain!
In a bold move to lure school-going children back to class, Kasese Youthlink For Development orchestrated a vibrant music, dance, and drama competition, just as the new school term beckons.
The event, held at Kitsutsu Primary School in Munkunyu Sub County, brought together over 500 youth from Nyakiyumbu, Munkunyu Sub Counties, and Kinyamaseke Town Council.
Nyakato Juliet, a student from Morning Star Voc Ss, the champion of the competition, exclaimed, "Thank you, Kasese Youthlink, for this incredible event! I urge parents to support their children's talents and nurture their skills."
Masika Elizabeth, a community member from Kinyamaseke Town Council, praised Kasese Youthlink For Development, saying, "Your activities are truly enhancing the lives of our youth. Keep up the fantastic work!"
Ngazaire Charles, a Para Social Worker from Munkunyu Sub, cautioned school-going children, "Discipline is key; it has no market, but it will take you far in life."
Mr. Kato Ronald, addressing the congregation, emphasized the importance of education and encouraged the youth to embrace their talents.
The competition saw Morning Star Voc Ss emerge victorious, followed by Nyamatunga Youthlink Link, Kitsutsu Youth for Justice and Greatest Archivers.
