BUILD A BRIGHTER FUTURE: The Secret to Success Lies in Savings, Farming, and Education

In a stark warning, Kato Ronald, Director of Kasese Youth Link for Development, sounded the alarm on the dire need for Kasese District residents to prioritize savings, improved farming practices, and education to secure a better future.

 Addressing a congregation of youths and community members on Saturday (14th September 2024) at Kitsutsu Primary School in Munkunyu Sub County, Kato emphasized:

Mr. Kato Ronald-Director Kasese Youthlink For Development 

"Save your earnings, adopt improved farming methods, and educate your children – these are the keys to unlocking a brighter tomorrow."

Kato stressed the importance of community cooperation in supporting children's education, saying: "Leaders and parents must work together to ensure our children receive the education they deserve."

Meanwhile, Tito Paul, a Community Volunteer at Kasese Youthlink For Development, issued a call to action for school dropouts, single mothers, and unemployed youth to acquire valuable skills. "Kasese Youthlink is offering training in Tailoring, Craft, and other skills – take advantage of this opportunity to gain productive skills in just six months!" Titor exclaimed.

With affordable fees, Titor urged the public to seize this chance to empower their children with skills that will last a lifetime.

Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Responds to Petition from Three MPs Seeking Medical Support for Omusinga

The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has taken note of a circulating petition dated April 8, 2025, addressed to the President of Uganda, seeking urgent medical support for His Majesty Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma. The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
