Bwera SS Shines at National Music Festival, Brings Home Three Trophies

Bwera Secondary School, representing Kasese District, recently received three trophies won at the National Music Festival in Jinja. Madam Beatrice, the school's choir leader, presented the trophies to Mr. Milton Kalyatha (PTA) and Mr. Samson Muhindo (BOG).

Madam Beatrice expressed heartfelt gratitude to the staff, administration, students, PTA, BOG, community, sister schools, church, and parents who supported the festival participation. She pledged continued hard work to excel in future competitions.

The trophies marked a proud moment for Bwera SS, showcasing their musical talent on the national stage.

Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Responds to Petition from Three MPs Seeking Medical Support for Omusinga

The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has taken note of a circulating petition dated April 8, 2025, addressed to the President of Uganda, seeking urgent medical support for His Majesty Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma. The petition, signed by Hon. Thembo Gideon Mujungu (MP Busongora County South), Hon. Sowedi Kitanywa (MP Busongora County North), and Hon. Ferigo Kam bale (MP Kasese Municipality), expresses concern over the delayed fulfillment of a presidential pledge to facilitate specialized medical treatment for the Omusinga and his wife. The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
