Celebrating Success: Liberty College of Management and Journalism Marks 20 Years!

Graduates, parents, and faculty gathered to celebrate a major milestone - the 20-year anniversary of Liberty College of Management and Journalism. The atmosphere was electric as they honored the latest batch of graduates and reflected on the power of friendship and support in achieving success.

"'I'm so grateful to my parents and friends for their unwavering support throughout my studies,' says Josenet Muhindo, a beaming graduate who earned a certificate in Journalism and Media Studies. 'Their encouragement and guidance helped me reach my full potential.'

Jockus Muhindo, a Journalism Tutor at the college, emphasized the importance of continued support. 'Parents, don't just stop at education. Support your children in all areas of life, and you'll see them achieve greatness!'

Jockim Kule, an employee of Messiah Radio and former Liberty College Guild President, urged parents to continue supporting their children after college life. 'It's not just about academics - it's about helping them become well-rounded individuals.'

Bikeke Simon, the coordinator of Umbrella for Journalists of Kasese, implored parents and friends of Josenet who had gathered at Legends Grill and Lounge to be innovative and use the digital world to earn. 'The digital age is upon us, and it's up to us to harness its power. Let's encourage our children to explore the endless possibilities of the online world and make the most of it.'

Bwambale John, Josenet's parent, was visibly emotional as he addressed the gathering. 'Educating a girl child is a significant achievement, not just for the individual but for the nation as a whole. I'm so proud of my daughter and all her accomplishments!'
