Fears Arise as Witchcraft Powers Dominate a Village in Kasese.

Leaders in Nyakiyumbu Sub County are concerned by witchcraft which is causing conflicts among residents of Kaghorwe III  Village in Nyakiyumbu Sub County Kasese District

Siriru Muhindo the Sub County Vice Chairperson say families of Robert Mulimu & Christopher Mutoka accuse a famous business man in area of being involved in witchcraft actions.

Mr. Siruru say these two families accuse Ivan Bikongolhyo that he's sending demonic sicknesses their children.

" As authorities we have been informed about the matter and we're planning to conduct a  meeting to harmonize the market. We condonm the act of witchcraft in the area" Mr Siriru

Betress Musongora the Chairperson LC 1 for Kaghorwe III Village ask warn residents against planned mob justices.

" I encourage my residents to remain calm believe in prayers for God is always the one in control." Ms. Betress say.

Betress show that they had earlier conducted a meeting for local leaders and some few residents to settle the matter.

 She say the meeting recommended the issue to handled with top leaders. We pledge to to give any development about the story

The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has taken note of a circulating petition dated April 8, 2025, addressed to the President of Uganda, seeking urgent medical support for His Majesty Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma. The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
