"Uganda's tourism landscape just got a radiant boost!" exclaimed Lily Ajorova, CEO of Uganda Tourism Board, congratulating the newly crowned Miss Tourism Uganda 2024/25, Atino Lucky Bianca.

Atino, 22, from Northern Uganda, stole the spotlight at the Serena Hotel on September 14th, showcasing her passion for Uganda's culture, heritage, and breathtaking landscapes.

"I'm honored to represent Uganda's tourism and can't wait to share its treasures with the world," said Atino, a climate and mental health activist, tech enthusiast, and voice-over artist.

As Miss Tourism Uganda 2024/25, Atino has already made a significant impact:

  1. Planted 1,000 trees in Seed schools across Northern Uganda
  2. Developing gadgets to improve Uganda's agriculture
  3. Mentoring school students, inspiring learning and exploration

Joining Atino are:

- 1st runner-up: Victoria Ndamurani (Bunyoro)

- 2nd runner-up: Akidi Rachael (Karamoja)

"We look forward to working with Atino in elevating Uganda's tourism profile globally," added Ajorova.

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
