Investors, Business Community, Youth And General Public Rallied To Utilize Rwenzori Theluji Festival Opportunities.

Baritazare Kule Benson chairperson, Board of Directors Kasese Tourism Investors Forum say that Theluji mainly aim to improve sustainable tourism within the Rwenzori Region.

"Together with our partners, we have organized trainings for the Youth, Women and the Investors summit. The Youth and Women trainings are for FREE whereas the Investors summit has a cover charge of UGX 50,000 per person. All trainings will happen on Friday 6th September 2024" Baritazara say.

Baritazara urge communities in Rwenzori Region to protect the environment as away to minimize on the increasing number of disasters and control to climatic changes.

" It is very important for us to protect our Biodiversity as the people of Rwenzori. Let's plant trees and engage in activities that protect and conserve our environment". Baritazara add

Baritazara Addressing Media 

Baritazara was addressing media at Verina Garden today ( 3rd September 2024), where he railed all tribes in Rwenzori Region to participate in ongoing Theluji events.

Yesterday ( 2nd September 2024) Mr. James Mboijana Tourism Development Officer under the Ministry of Tourism Wildlife and Antiquities , said that government pledged its total support towards success of the Festival

Mugisha Addressing Media at Verina Garden In Kasese Town 

"The Rwenzori Theluji Festival is an opportunity for us to market our National parks in Kasese. We thank the organisers for bringing this together and we shall support them" Hon James pledge

Mugisa Police Charles, Chairman Organizing Committee Rwenzori Theluji Festival say all steps have been done to ensure success of the Festival.

Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Responds to Petition from Three MPs Seeking Medical Support for Omusinga

The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has taken note of a circulating petition dated April 8, 2025, addressed to the President of Uganda, seeking urgent medical support for His Majesty Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma. The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
