The event has already generated a lot of interest, with thousands of tourists expected to attend. Musasiza Innocent, owner of Mweya Lodge, says they are preparing for a big influx of visitors. "We have already been booked, and we are constructing more cottages to accommodate the tourists."

Assistant RDC Kasese, Kabirizi Henry, has appealed to hotel owners not to hike accommodation prices. "We don't want to create a wrong perception about Kasese. We want tourists to feel welcome and enjoy their stay."

LCV Kasese, Muhindi Eliphaz, says the preparations are in high gear. "All LCVs of districts bordering Kasese have reported for preparation. We are working together to make this event a success."

With its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, Kasese is an ideal destination for tourists. The town is home to the beautiful Equator monument, which is a major tourist attraction.

As the countdown begins, the people of Kasese are eager to showcase their hospitality and warmth. "We are ready to welcome the world to Kasese," says Basisa. "Let's come together to make this event a success."
