Married Couples Tipped To Love God and Work Hard For Their Families - Archbishop Dr Kaziimba.
The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, his grace Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu has cautioned couples to rely more on God instead of traditional healers.
The Archbishop made the call as he was presiding a thanksgiving service at All Saints' Church at Manyangwa in Gayaza, Wakiso district on Saturday last week for Dr. Obed Kabanda and his wife Louise Kabugho, who were celebrating 20 years of marriage, Dr. kabanda’s PHD and Mrs Kabugho Louise Kabanda third degree.
Archbishop Kaziimba urged married women to always practice patience, humility and resilience. He says some women have been victims of witchcraft looking for favours and children.
The retired bishop for South Rwenzori diocese Masereka Zebedee Kahangwa testified that he has spent fifty-six years in marriage. Masereka said he is praying for Obed and Louise and looks forward to join the Kabanda family celebrating seventy years of marriage.
Dr. Kabanda Obed thanked God for the far the Lord has brought them as a family as he met his wife Louise twenty years ago.
God has blessed the Kabanda family with four children and the eldest being in University.
Dr. Obed was celebrating a PHD in organisational learning and leadership and his wife Louise got her third degree in human resource management from Claremont University California USA.
Dr. Obed is currently the senior director of Global partnerships and acting lead, development at Global Fund for women, an organization in the USA that supports women’s organizations in over 170 countries.
The Archbishop also launched their book titled” From Dream to Destiny” A tale of Patience, Humility and Resilience.
