Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Pledge to Enhance Tourism Investment.

Rwenzori Theluji Festival marked day three on Saturday (7th September 2024) with Cultural Caravan which started Rukoki District Headquarters with activities like Convoy, Cultural dances along the road, Photography.

Cultural Gala and Exhibition was held at Rwenzori Square in Kasese town, where different cultures of  people in Rwenzori  showcased their talents.

Theluji Cultural Night sealed the day with an activity to promote local talents it was led by the Mountain aka Boy Goodhope Alex and other Kasese based Artists.

The day was graced by a number of cultural organizations and business companies led by Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu.

King Mumbere implore all tribes in Rwenzori Region to promote tourism sites in their area.

" I implore the public, mainly the youth to invest and showcase the beauty of our Rwenzori'' Omusinga Mumbere noted.

Rt. Hon. Patrick explain that exhibition was a significant to the event, which showcased the vibrant culture, creativity, and innovation of the Rwenzori region.

The exhibition highlighted the artistic talents of local artisans, with displays of traditional crafts, sculptures, and other works that celebrate the unique heritage of the Rwenzururu Kingdom.

"We support of such initiatives and commitment to promoting culture and empowering local communities through economic opportunities" King Mumbere noted.

Police Mugisha , the Chairperson Organizing Committee for the 3rd Edition of Rwenzori Theluji Festival, thank their supporters and community at large for their participation in this year's edition.

However, Rwenzori Theluji Festival activities were affected by floods where many residents of Kasese Municipality were seen on road sides and water trenches in worry about water that stormed the area.
