Twelve Contestants To Compete in Miss Rwenzori Competitions

Evra Promotions and Marketing Agency Public Relations Officer, Mr Omega Peter say 12 Contestants have so far confirmed their participation in the Miss Rwenzori Competitions.

Omega urge contestants be extremely examplilary and tell the world about the beauty of Rwenzori Region.

" They should be examples of good works and promote the region. They should advocate for girl child education" 

He discourage them against prestige as they may tend to think that they are only beautiful ladies in the region 

" Beauty is not a fact of looking nice by color but it what you do that cause a positive change in life for someone in community" Omega add

Biira Asinet,, 20yrs Old,, from Nyabutundu Cell in Mpondwe Lhubiriha Town Council - Kasese a Midwife by Profession.

Recently Biira Asinet announced her  candidacy for Miss Rwenzori 2024, promising to show the hospitality and beauty of Rwenzori Region 

" As a proud daughter of this region, I am passionate about show casing it's beauty, culture and potential. My vision is to empower local communities, promote sustainable tourism and preserve our rich heritage" Asinet say

She ask public to support her developmental ideas. "I may not know each of you personally but I ask for you support because I share a common goal with you to see our region thrive" Asinet add

Biira Asinet 

Biira Asiimwe Praise, a 20-year-old midwife from Kizungu Cell Kasese Town also confirmed her participation in the competition with aim Conserving the Environment for the Future.

" As a passionate advocate for environmental conservation, I believe that our region's natural beauty and resources are a treasure that deserves our protection. Growing up in Rwenzori, I've witnessed firsthand the impact of pollution, deforestation, and climate change on our communities."  Praise note.

She narrate that environmental degradation has mostly affected mothers and children in Rwenzori Region 

"As a midwife, I've seen the direct impact of environmental degradation on maternal and child health. I believe that a healthy environment is essential for a healthy population." Praise add

Assimwe Praise 

Kabugho Mercyline, a 24-year-old proud Muthangyi from the mighty Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Kingdom , also announced her candidacy promising to promote the region 

" I'm thrilled to announce my participation in the Miss Rwenzori 2024 pageant Competitions! As a young woman from this beautiful kingdom, I'm passionate about showcasing our rich culture, values, and traditions. I believe that empowerment, poverty eradication, and community development are key to a brighter future." Mercyline vow.

Omega, PRO Evra Promotions and Marketing Agency had earlier communicated that competition welcome potential ladies from all districts of Rwenzori Region 

Our efforts to get information from all candidates was limited because however as  Jee Rick News we pray success and pledge our total support to Evra Promotions and Marketing Agency an agency that is organizing the competition.

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
