ARTISANS IN KASESE, UGANDA, SET TO RECEIVE DIT CERTIFICATES

Artisans Registering for DIT Certificates 

In a groundbreaking initiative, the Big Heart Foundation has partnered with the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) to provide DIT certificates to artisans in Kasese, Uganda. This move is expected to revolutionize the lives of these skilled workers, enabling them to explore new avenues and improve their socio-economic status.

Natusima Mariat, one of the beneficiaries, expressed her excitement, saying, "I am eager to receive this certificate. It will help me to improve my skills and contest for various political positions, as well as enhance my academic career."

Baluku Godfrey, another artisan, echoed similar sentiments, stating, "This certificate will help me to acquire expertise in my skill and expose me to job opportunities. I am grateful to the Big Heart Foundation and DIT for this initiative."

The DIT certificates are recognized under the Uganda Vocational Qualifications Framework (UVQF), making them a valuable asset for artisans in Kasese. The assessment and certification process is conducted by the DIT, ensuring that the artisans meet the required standards.
