In a recent meeting at Nyamwamba division offices, Peter Baluku, Executive Director of KADUPED, urged members to wisely utilize the sewing and welding machines provided to them from NUDIPU. 'These machines are your key to unlocking a brighter future,' he emphasized.

As their project with the district disasters committee comes to an end in early December this year, people with disabilities are taking charge of their lives. 'We're no longer victims, we're victors!' declared Tuton.

The meeting aimed to inform KADUPED members about the project's conclusion and encourage them to use their newfound skills to eradicate poverty. The project has empowered people with disabilities to become self-sufficient and contribute to their communities.

Mark Tuton appealed for cooperation and coordination among all people with disabilities, saying, 'Unity is the only way to access the doors of opportunities.' He also urged for proper utilization of PDM funds as the only way of earning a living even though the project has come to an end.
