FROM SLOGAN TO SOLUTION: Silhuhwere Foundation Uganda Limited to Transform Lives and Communities.

In a stunning turn of events, a former political slogan has been transformed into a non-political Community-Based Organization (CBO) that's making waves in Busongora County South. 

Silhuhwere Foundation Uganda Limited, once a rallying cry for the area's former MP Hon. Jackson Mbaju Kathika, has evolved into a force for change, addressing pressing issues like education, transport, marketing, health, and electricity.

"We're committed to developing our community and improving lives," says Hon. Kathika, Executive Director of Silhuhwere Foundation Uganda Limited. "Our focus is on creating positive impact, not politicking."

With over 400 members and counting, the CBO is already making a difference. "We're fighting domestic violence, promoting financial inclusion, and empowering our members," says Mr. Simon Kaheta, Chairperson of the Board of Governors. "Our goal is to reach 20,000 members by 2030."

The women's representative in the management team highlights the challenges they're tackling. "We're addressing education barriers, improving healthcare access, and promoting economic empowerment," she explains.

Mr. Wisely Kapolyo Mumbere, Secretary of the CBO, emphasizes their non-political stance. "We welcome everyone, regardless of political affiliation. Our mission is to serve the community, not perpetuate politics."

As Silhuhwere Foundation Uganda Limited continues to grow and make a difference, one thing is clear: this former political slogan has become a powerful symbol of hope and change in Busongora County South."

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night.
