MANCHESTER UNITED ANNOUNCE DEPARTURE OF ERIK TEN HAG

Manchester United have confirmed that Erik ten Hag has left his position as men's first-team manager, effective immediately.

Ten Hag, who was appointed in April 2022, led the club to two domestic trophies during his tenure, including the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.

The club expressed gratitude to Ten Hag for his contributions and wished him well for the future.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has been appointed as interim head coach, supported by the current coaching team, until a permanent head coach is recruited.

This news comes as a surprise to many, and fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of a new permanent head coach.
