OBR Takes Bold Step to Empower Orphans and Widows

"In a groundbreaking move, the Rwenzururu Kingdom has pledged to support orphans and widows, bringing hope to vulnerable communities!"

Hon. Josephine Babungi Bebona, Bundibugyo district woman Member of Parliament, has praised the kingdom's efforts: "This is a significant step towards addressing the plight of orphans and widows. I commend the kingdom's commitment to their welfare."

Nyabaghole Agnes Ithungu Asimawe, Her Royal Highness, emphasized: "We recognize the challenges faced by orphans and widows and are dedicated to making a positive impact. Our goal is to provide support and empowerment for a brighter future."

Ms. Sarah Asiimwe, a local resident, expressed her gratitude: "This initiative is a beacon of hope for our community. We are thankful for the kingdom's intervention and look forward to seeing positive changes."

The kingdom's Attorney General has been tasked with registering and locating orphans and widows for future interventions, ensuring a comprehensive approach to supporting those in need.

Josephine further,  ask for Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Education Department to allocate scholarships for leaners in Bundibungyo district.

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
