Promoting Unity Among Rwenzori Region Tribes, Konzo Night Festival Preparations Underway.

Preparations for the Konzo Night Festival are in high gear, with Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu (OBR) and the police confirming their participation. The event is slated on 18th October 2024

OBR's Minister of Youth and Talents Promotion, Baluku Hozea, urged organizers to ensure peace and unity during the event.

 Rwenzori East Police Spokesperson, SP Nelson Tumushime, assured police commitment to securing and providing safe celebrations, warning bloggers against hate speeches.











OBR's Minister of Information, Communication, and Mobilization, Hon. Kanyonyi Godfrey, appreciated media personalities for sharing information about OBR events. He emphasized OBR's commitment to working with everyone, promoting peace over hate, and challenged youth to cooperate for development.

The festival, chaired by Kabaka Deo, aims to unite all tribes in the Rwenzori Region. Several artists have confirmed their attendance.

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
