Dance Competition Unites Kasese District with "Dance for Jesus" Theme

The Christian City Church (C3 Live Church) Kasese Cluster has organized a dance competition to unite dancers in Kasese District, with the theme "Dance for Jesus". 

Over 10 dancing groups are participating in the event, which aims to promote talent and unity. The competition is being held at Nyakasanga Playground in Kasese Town and will award the winning group UGX 1 million.

"We are thrilled to host this competition, which showcases the incredible talent in our district," said Pastor Rock Muthengeki, team leader for C3 Church Kasese District. "Our theme, 'Dance for Jesus,' reflects our goal of using our gifts to glorify God."

Kasese Municipality Mayor, Chance Kahindo, emphasized the importance of supporting young talent. "Talents shouldn't be considered bad acts, but rather opportunities to earn a living," he said. "I'm proud to see our community come together to celebrate dance and unity."

The competition is funded by a team from America and which also recently funded a football tournament and community outreaches to demonstrate love and care for non-members of the church.

"We're excited to see the creativity and passion of our participants," said Pastor Muthengeki. "This event is a testament to the power of community and the impact we can make when we come together."

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
