Police Destroy Marijuana Plantation and Prepare for Nyege Nyege Festival

In a significant blow to illegal drug trade, police in Napak District have destroyed a massive marijuana plantation. The operation resulted in the eradication of over 10 acres of marijuana, dealing a major setback to drug traffickers in the region.

Meanwhile, a joint security meeting was held to finalize preparations for the upcoming Nyege Nyege Festival. The festival is scheduled to take place at the Jinja Golf Course from November 14 to 17, 2024, and is expected to attract both local and international revelers.

The police have vowed to continue their crackdown on illegal drug trade and urged the public to report any suspicious activities. Security measures are in place to ensure a safe and successful festival.

The Nyege Nyege Festival is expected to be a huge success, with thousands of visitors expected to attend.
