ROTARY CLUB OF BUGIRI AND ROTARACT CLUB OF KASESE PARTNER WITH KAROTH KIDS FOUNDATION TO DONATE ESSENTIAL ITEMS TO RAILWAY HEALTH CENTER III

Over the weekend, the Rotary Club of Bugiri and Rotaract Club of Kasese, in collaboration with the Karoth KIDs Foundation, generously donated essential items to patients at Railway Health Center III in Kasese Municipality . The donated items included sugar, rice, laundry soap, detergent, squeezers, and sanitary pads.

Stephen Gonzaga the President of  the Rotaract Club of Kasese expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Rotary family for their support in giving back to the community. "We believe these items will significantly contribute to the well-being of patients during their admission period at the health facility," he said.

Ms. Masika Caro Muhindi, Director of Karoth KIDs Foundation, highlighted the importance of volunteering and giving back to the community. "Numerous important causes require volunteers to support their work. Even dedicating a few hours of your time each month can make a profound difference in the lives of others," she emphasized. 

She added that volunteering offers a valuable opportunity to engage with your community, meet new people, and expand your network of friends.

Meanwhile one the beneficiaries appreciated the support given to them, saying it's timely since she had delivered. The Health Center was was given Squeezers, Jik and Liquid Soap.

The joint charity activity is part of Rotary and Rotaract's initiatives to give back to the community and positively impact the lives of others.
