SCHOOL OF SCIENCE WINS 5TH EDITION OF C3 FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

Kasese, Uganda - The School of Science Soccer Club from Kasese Town has emerged victorious in the 5th edition of the C3 Football Tournament, defeating Best in Town Soccer Club 1-0 in the final match. The tournament, featuring ten clubs, was organized by the Christian Community Church (C3) to promote youth talent regardless of religion or tribe.

Pastor Rock Mutengeki, C3 team leader, emphasized the importance of impacting and promoting youth talent through sports. And congratulated all clubs for participation in the tournament. 

Nyanzi Dennis Kasibante, the winning club captain, attributed their success to determination and hard work from all players and thanked the organizers for enhancing youth development through the tournament.

The 5th Edition of C3 Football Tournament awards were presented as follows:

- Winners: School of Science Soccer Club - 3,000,000 UGX

- 1st Runners-up: Best in Town Soccer Club - 1,000,000 UGX

- 2nd Runners-up : Rwenzori Lions-  500,000 UGX

- 3rd Runners-up were supposed to be given 200,000 UGX but due to indiscipline they weren't awared

The C3 Football Tournament has provided a platform for young footballers to showcase their skills and potential, promoting unity and sportsmanship among participants. Congratulations to the School of Science Soccer Club on their well-deserved win!

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
