SILUHWERE FOUNDATION UGANDA LIMITED TO FOSTER DEVELOPMENT IN BUSONGORA SOUTH CONSTITUENCY

Kasese, Uganda - In a bid to foster development in Busongora South Constituency, Kasese District, Siluhwere Foundation Uganda Limited has shifted its focus from political ambitions to community development.

"We are committed to making a positive impact in our community," said Mr. Mbaju Kathika, Executive Director of Siluhwere Foundation Uganda Limited. "Our goal is to unite community members and address common challenges such as low education levels, poor saving habits, and health issues."

While sensitizing community members at Kinyateke Church of Uganda in Kahokya Sub County, Kathika emphasized that the movement is non-political. "We want to bring people together and provide support where it's needed most," he added.

Deputy Executive Director, Mr. Asasio Kithiri Kule, highlighted the importance of unity and shared challenges. "By forming groups and working together, community members can share knowledge, resources, and expertise to improve their lives," he said.

Vice Chairperson, Paul Kimbesa, emphasized the benefits of soft loans for community development. "We want to empower community members to take control of their finances and improve their living standards," he said.

Community members seeking membership expressed enthusiasm for the foundation's initiatives. "This is a great opportunity for us to come together and make a difference in our community," said Mzaliwa Baluku. "We are tired of waiting for others to solve our problems, and we want to take action ourselves," added Esther Kyakimwa. Ronald Wabuha noted, "We believe that by working together, we can achieve great things and improve our lives."

The foundation aims to register at least 93 groups across the constituency, promoting development and improvement in the community.
