KASESE C.O.U ARCHIDONONARY HOLDS END OF YEAR PRAYER MISSION, 400 ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOR

Kasese, Uganda - The South Rwenzori Diocese recently held a successful end of year prayer mission at Kogere COU in Kasese Archdeaconry, where over 400 people accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Rev. Musisi William, Director of Mission for South Rwenzori Diocese, delivered a powerful sermon, urging Christians to turn away from sin and accept Jesus as their personal Savior

"Accept Jesus and turn away from your sins," Rev. Musisi emphasized. "It's essential for us to reflect on our lives and make amends as we prepare for the new year."

The mission, which was arranged by Rev. Guslain Kambale Muli, Assistant Archdeacon for Kasese Archdeaconry, drew over 1,000 attendees from 50 churches.

"As young women, it's essential to prioritize your safety and well-being," Mama Nyabahasa said. "Dressing decently and returning home early can help prevent unwanted situations.

Layreader Mr. Kachope Edward also shared a message with the youth, urging them to maintain good morals in their communities during the Christmas season.

"Our youth are the future leaders of our community," Mr. Kachope said. "It's essential for them to prioritize their values and morals, especially during the holiday season."

Parish Mission Coordinator Mr. Modest Tayiswika expressed gratitude to God for the successful completion of the conference.

"We are thankful for the opportunity to come together as a community and reflect on our faith," Mr. Tayiswika said. "We also apphavereciate the support of our leaders and attendees."

In conclusion, Mr. Tayiswika reminded parents to prioritize good parenting and take care of their children during the Christmas festival and holiday season.

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night.
