OBUSINGA BWA RWENZURURU PARTNERS WITH RWENZORI MOUNTAINEERING SERVICES TO BOOST TOURISM!

Kasese, Uganda - Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Rwenzori Mountaineering Services to promote tourism in the Kingdom.

"We are excited to partner with Rwenzori Mountaineering Services to showcase the beauty of our Kingdom," said Hon. Kule Baritazara Benson, Deputy Prime Minister for Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu.

Isuka Benon, CEO of Rwenzori Mountaineering Services, emphasized the importance of promoting cultural tourism. "Most of our visitors ask about the culture, so we want to provide them with an authentic experience," Benon said.

Marahi Modesto, Director of Finance at Rwenzori Mountaineering Services, noted that the partnership aims to have multiple companies supporting the tourism sector. "Our goal is to work together to promote the beauty of the Kingdom and create opportunities for economic growth and development," Modesto said.

Hon. Baritazara urged tourism operators to upgrade their services and provide excellent customer experiences. "We must work together to promote tourism in our Kingdom and provide good services to our visitors," he said.

The Deputy Prime Minister also challenged tourism operators to develop initiatives that promote environmental conservation and sustainability in the mountains. "We must think about initiatives that aim to improve greening the mountains," he added

The partnership is expected to boost tourism in the region, creating opportunities for economic growth and development.

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
