RWENZORI LIONS AND GALACTICAL- FOOTBALL CLUBS QUALIFY FOR UGANDA CUP

Kampala, Uganda - In a thrilling development, Rwenzori Lions Football  Club has qualified to participate in the prestigious Uganda Cup, alongside Mabira Town Council FC, alias Galactical FC (Kasese Boys), who also made history by participating in the Uganda Cup for the first time.

Mabira Town Council FC emerged among the top 64 clubs in the country, after winning thrilling matches against Bundimasoli FC (7:6 in penalties), Fort City (1:0), and Foto alias Tooro Rangers (3:1).

The team extends its heartfelt gratitude to its fans, sponsors (Kilor Star Soap & Bulamu Masters), club management, and players for their collective commitment, love, trust, and support.

As Mabira Town Council FC returns to the Kitara Regional league competition, their next game will be against Bumate Football Club at Nyakasanga Playground on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

"We vow to give our best and expect respect from our fans, as always," said Sem Anderson Masereka the CEO Galactical SC. "We look forward to cooperating with the general public and all stakeholders in the game for the betterment of the club, the public, and the game."

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
