A 17-YEAR-OLD GIRL WITH UNKNOWN FAMILY BACKGROUND SEEK FOR HELP AFTER LEAVING KAMPALA FOR KASESE

Kasese, Uganda - A 17-year-old girl, identified as Grace Anabelle17, is seeking employment after being released from police custody.

Grace, formerly a maid in Kireka, Kampala, was let go by her employer. She then traveled to Kasese, where she was briefly held by police after seeking help at Messiah Radio reception.

Released from custody, Grace was seen along Mukirania Street in Kasese Town around 12pm, asking for job opportunities.

Efforts are also underway to locate Grace's relatives, as her family background and contacts remain unknown. Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing her family.

Speaking in a mix of Luganda and simple English, Grace expressed her desire to find work and get her life back on track. Anyone with information about Grace's family can contact the Kasese Central Police Station.

Bernard Cheptoch and Rachel Chebet Zena are the Champions for the 4th Edition of Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon.

It was attended by runners from 35 countries, highlighting how the Marathon is international. Hon. Kasese Catholic Diocese Permitted to Run Mt. St. Mary’s College of Health Sciences.

Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Health has accredited Kasese Catholic Diocese to run Mt. St. Mary’s College of Health Sciences in a move to improve healthcare in the country. The institution that will run under Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital is meant to produce health workers who are God fearing and dedicated to their services. Mr. Joseph Kule Nzukwa, the Chairperson for the Governing Council for the institution explain that the government positively responded to their application for running a college at the diocesan headquarters.
