LUBAGA HOSPITAL CONFIRMS DEATH OF HON. MUHAMMAD SSEGIRINYA

Kampala, Uganda - Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya, the Member of Parliament for Kawempe North, passed away today, Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 12:10 pm.

According to the hospital's official statement, Hon. Ssegirinya had been under their care, but unfortunately, he did not recover despite all efforts.

The hospital extended its heartfelt condolences to the Parliament of Uganda, the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Members of Parliament, his family, and the people of Kawempe North


Hon. Ssegirinya will be remembered for his dedication and commitment to serving his constituents. May hiss soul rest in eternal peace.

Bernard Cheptoch and Rachel Chebet Zena are the Champions for the 4th Edition of Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon.

It was attended by runners from 35 countries, highlighting how the Marathon is international. Hon. Gladys Boos, the Deputy Speaker of the Kenya National Assembly, blessed the marathon, explaining that the marathon shouldn't be used just for running but be considered as a gem that Uganda currently has. Rwenzururu Kingdom Mourns Deputy Minister in Tragic Attack in DR. Congo

The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Kingdom is mourning the loss of Hon. Anuarite Kavira Kyalima, Deputy Minister of Intercultural Cooperation and External Relations, who was brutally murdered in the Democratic Republic of Congo on Saturday, April 29, 2025. According to reports, Hon. Anuarite was attacked by unknown assailants while returning from a burial ceremony. Her death is a significant blow to the Kingdom and ongoing efforts toward cross-border cooperation and intercultural harmony. The Kingdom through its spokesperson Hon.
