MBARARA CITY ATHLETES CLUB JOINS HARD LOOPERS FOR SUPER RUN - MBARARA CITY MARATHON

Mbarara, Uganda - In a thrilling display of athleticism and community spirit, Mbarara City Athletes Club teamed up with the Hard Loopers for a Super Run through the city streets this morning.

The event marked the official start of activations for the highly-anticipated Mbarara City Marathon, which is expected to draw hundreds of runners and spectators from across the region.

The Super Run saw participants tackle a challenging route through Mbarara City, showcasing their endurance and determination.

Organizers hailed the event as a resounding success, praising the teamwork and camaraderie on display.

The outgoing LC3 Chairperson of Kitswamba Town Council in Kasese District, Mr. Monday John Wakighoma, has appealed to Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to formally recognize his family’s contribution to Uganda’s liberation struggle, claiming that NRM veterans once hid at their home during the bush war. Wakighoma made the remarks while congratulating President Museveni on what he described as a seventh term in office, praising government programs such as the Parish Development Model (PDM), Emyooga, and ongoing road infrastructure works that he said have benefited communities in Kasese District.
