STATE MINISTER BALUKU GODFREY KABYANGA GRADUATES FROM MAKERERE UNIVERSITY

Kampala, Uganda - The State Minister for ICT and National Guidance, Hon. Baluku Godfrey Kabyanga, has graduated with a Master's degree in Economic Policy and Planning from Makerere University.

Minister Kabyanga was among thousands of students who received their degrees during the university's 75th graduation ceremony, currently underway.

This achievement marks a significant milestone in the minister's academic and professional journey, demonstrating his commitment to lifelong learning and excellence.

In another highlight of the ceremony, Mubiru Enock Joel, a Bachelor of Science graduate, was awarded an accolade and a cash prize of Shs1 million as the best overall student in sciences, with a CGPA of 4.91.

The week-long 75th graduation ceremony, which started on January 13, 2025, will confer a total of 13,653 degrees and diplomas, comprising:

- 143 PhDs

- 1,813 Master's degrees

- 11,454 Bachelor's degrees

- 243 postgraduate diplomas.
