RWENZURURU KINGDOM PAYS TRIBUTE TO LATE BRIG. GEN. CHARLES OLUKA
The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Kingdom has sent a delegation to pay respects to the late Brig. Gen. Charles Oluka, Director General of the Internal Security Organization (ISO). Brig. Gen. Oluka was a distinguished soldier who served with dedication and distinction during his tenure at ISO.
He played a key role in apprehending criminals involved in several high-profile cases.
According to a message from the Omusinga Charles Mumbere Wisely, the delegation comprises Hon. Yowasi Thembo Mugamba, Minister of Royal Protection and Transport, and Lt. Omega Tibakunirwa, OC of the UPDF Royal Guards. The team delivered a message of sympathy and condolences from His Majesty Omusinga to the bereaved family, government, UPDF, and ISO.
Before proceeding to the burial site, the delegation made a courtesy call on His Royal Highness Emormori, the King of Iteso, in Soroti. Brig. Gen. Charles Oluka, a strong supporter of the Royal Family, was laid to rest today.
